Vaccinations

Hi folks!
I know that most of us want to do what is right for our dog, whether it be food, training, or vet care. Over vaccinating, I believe, is adding unnecessary health concerns to our family members, as well as causing death in some cases. This page is dedicated to "Blade", a wonderful family pet, who unfortunately died due to complications from over vaccination. Here are the most recent recommendations for vaccinating our friends. Please pass this information to others who need to know and understand more information about the risk and benefits of vaccinations.

Canine vaccines and duration of immunity There has been a fair amount of research into vaccine duration of immunity. I have presented the most well-known and what appears to be the most scientifically accurate here. The Schultz studies and canine vaccines Starting in the late 1970's Dr. Ron Schultz, now Chairman of the Department of Pathobiological Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, began a series of investigations into the actual duration of immunity of canine vaccines. A summary of his and other studies is presented here:
