NWGC URO2 UNJCH UCH Cher Car's Days of Future Passed SPOT-ON (OFA H&E) Call name “Ritter”
Ritter is a strikingly handsome black and red male who represents our EIGHTH generation of Cher Car Kennels German Shepherd Dogs tracing back to Cheryl's original stud dog “Renegade” who was the first producer of Police K-9s for Michigan State University.
He is very social with people and other animals, is extremely masculine with tremendous bone and large head. He is very similar to his father Kayser, who carries outstanding West German bloodlines, most notably through his grandfather World Sieger 2x VA1 Ober von Bad-Boll SchH3 Kkl1.
Ritter's mother is our highly titled and beautiful Champion Rhythm, sired by our Champion Kevlar, and granddaughter of our Nicky who was also of good West German bloodlines being line bred on both World Siegers VA1 Yambo vom Wildsteiger Land SchH3 FH and 2x VA1 Uran vom Wildsteiger Land SchH3 FH.

Ritter quickly finished his breed Championship at 6 months of age with 5 competition wins and 3 Best-of-Breeds (over champions), earning 3 Group placements and winning the Herding Group in his last show!
Ritter also hold a Championship in UKC dock jumping, and is titled in rally obedience and nosework, which he especially enjoys.
Ritter has turned out to be a truly gifted “super-sniffer”, earning all 25 titles that together comprise the ELITE NOSEWORK title before he was 2 years old!
Ritter was inducted into the 2024 UKC Nosework Hall of Fame for earning his Elite Nosework title, as well as the 2024 Top Ten Group Nosework Hall of Fame, ranking First in the Herding Group by earning an impressive 24 Nosework titles. The UKC also recognized him as the Youngest Dog of Any Breed to earn the Elite Nosework title in 2024.
At the start of 2025, Ritter accelerated his nosework performance, earning five individual Nosework Element Champion titles by June 1, 2025, which awarded him the overall title of UKC Nosework Champion and qualified him for inclusion in the 2025 UKC Nosework Hall of Fame. According to the UKC, Ritter is the youngest German Shepherd Dog to ever earn the Nosework Champion title —achieving this distinction at 2 years, 6 months, and 9 days old.
Ritter officially completed his nosework competition career in October 2025 by earning five individual Nosework Element Grand Champion titles, making him a UKC Nosework Grand Champion and a Lifetime Member of the UKC Nosework Hall of Fame—an extraordinary accomplishment for a dog still only two years old.
To put this achievement into perspective: the initial Nosework titles require two qualifying scores in each element (a total of 40 scores). The Champion level demands three qualifying scores per element (60 scores total), while the Grand Champion level raises the bar to five qualifying scores in each element—an impressive 100 passing scores overall. Ritter achieved all 200 passing scores needed for his combined titles in just 18 months of competition, from April 2024 through October 2025—a truly remarkable feat.
