Kevlar is a stunningly handsome and very male German Shepherd Dog who is precisely within the breed standard. He is very social with other animals (big and small dogs, horses, goats) that is gentle as a lamb with children but possesses a natural defense drive making him a marvelous watchdog and protector.
Kevlar is the 6th generation of Cher Car Kennels bred German Shepherd Dogs (out of our stud dog NICKY (PD1 P1 Ruff N' Stuff's Nickelodeon BH BTr PPD CGC TT TC TDI ) and female SCHICK (Cher Car’s Bull Schick) tracing back to Cheryl Carlson’s foundation male who was the first producer of Police K-9s for Michigan State University.
Kevlar was a UKC breed champion and during the period of 2012-2019 he sired 29 litters. At that time, he was ranked #2 Producing German Shepherd Dog Sire of UKC performance titled offspring (they have earned 176 titles to date), plus he also sired a wide variety of multi-talented offspring including 9 Medical Alert/Assistance Service dogs, 5 Search & Rescue dogs, 2 Police Service Dogs, and a multitude of fine family companions and guardians.
