“Mayhem” is a fourth generation of Cher Car Kennels Dutch Shepherd breeding, out of three generations of Register of Merit dogs (as awarded by the Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of America).
He is large for the breed; very stable with great nerve and has a very deep working pedigree. He is an exceptional dog that would have made an outstanding dual purpose Police K-9 due to his phenomenal nosework and bitework. However, he was destined to be a loving family companion and protector, who enjoys a wide variety of performance sports with his family.
Mayhem was the first blue Dutch Shepherd to earn a UKC breed Championship, and is similarly the only blue to earn a Grand Championship!

Mayhem enjoys competing in UKC Nosework and has earned the ELITE NOSEWORK title (a combination of 30 nosework titles overall), earning Multiple High-in-Trial awards along the way. He is also titled in Shed Hunting, Rally Obedience, Agility, Coursing and is a Champion Dock Jumper, having won the UAD 2018 National MASTER CATCH-IT Championship and the UAD 2019 National MASTER ELITE Catch It Vice-Championship.
What Mayhem loves to do more than anything is bitework and he has been an outstanding performer in many personal protection tournaments over the last few years, winning the 2019 DOG SPORTS OPEN Protection Dog Tournament and winning the 2021 MI K9 Challenge Protection Dog Tournament.
We really like Mayhem's muscular frame and masculine head. He is a joy to work with, very biddable, never tough to the handler. We are very excited to see what this boy does to continue our traditions here!
